Have a Q? Here’s an A…..
When do the classes start?
I have a hunch that you are itching to get started! The good news is that unless specified, my classes are instant-access classes. On enrolment, you will be provided with access to all content immediately. You can work through the classes at your own pace.
How do I access my classes?
Login is via https://classes.laurahornart.com/. You will need your email address and password. If you don't know your password there is a link where you can reset it. Any problems, please contact laurahornart@gmail.com.
Will I have enough time?
With my classes, I cover a lot of ground but the videos are edited in such a way that the total running time is only 1-2 hours and this is broken down into chunks. Perfect for busy lives. The classes also come with lifetime access and all videos are downloadable.
What is the format?
The classes are delivered in video format via the online platform Teachable. All videos are professionally shot with multiple camera angles. I chat to you as I am painting and you get to see inside my studio and surroundings. There is also additional written content in the classroom.
Do I need the internet?
Yes, you will need a good internet connection to view and/or download the video content for this course. If you download the videos, once downloaded, you can watch the videos on your device without an internet connection.
What level are the classes?
The classes are suitable for anyone who has an interest in mixed-media abstract art. Having said that, if you are new to painting The Melting Pot, Watercolour Explorations and Minimal Magic are excellent starter courses.
Which class, I can't choose?
You might find it helpful to think about what kind of media you want to focus on. While all of my classes are mixed media to a certain extent some classes lean more to watercolour while others to acrylic. Check out the watercolour, acrylic and mixed media class bundles for inspiration.
Do I need all of the supplies?
No, I encourage you to work with what you have and adapt the classes to suit your needs. I am all for mixing things up and experimenting with materials! Many students find it helpful to watch a class through first and then decide on their supplies choices.
Is there an online community?
Yes, all class participants have the option of joining the Laura Horn Art Community Private Facebook Group. There is also a hashtag #laurahornartclasses that can be used on Instagram and other social media platforms. Participating in social media is optional.
What support is available?
When a new class goes live, I am in the Classroom and Facebook Group Mon to Fri for the first two weeks. After that, I pop in approx. 1-2 times per week. You will also receive support from your fellow artists.
What is the refund policy?
Once you are enrolled in a class, I am unable to offer a refund. I encourage you to fully read through the class details, watch the class trailer and contact me if you have any questions prior to signing up.
