Getting Started on a Big Abstract Canvas

Join me in the studio this week as I chat about slowing down and making more time for personal work. I also start a big canvas using Matisse Background Paint (coloured gesso).

For this layer, I am using Terracotta, Blush, Olive Green Deep and White. I'm keeping it loose using a water spray and allowing colours to mix on the canvas. This is very much a start and I will continue to layer and build up the base on this one throughout the week.
