My Updated Daniel Smith Palette: 15 Colours for Creative Mixing
Hi everyone! This video has been in the works for a while—an updated list of my 15 favourite Daniel Smith colours. Since my last swatching video, I’ve added quite a few new shades to my collection, so I thought it would be fun to put together a limited palette of 15. For this selection, I’ve focused on colours that are beautiful on their own but also offer fantastic mixing potential.
Inspired by Hilma af Klint's lovely painted squares, I decided to swatch the colours in a grid. As I swatch each one, I discuss its properties and why I chose it for this palette. I’m really excited about these colours! Let me know in the comments if there are any colours you love or are curious to try. All colours are linked in the description below.
Plus, as mentioned, I’m launching a free Modern Mixed Media Taster course—sign up for my newsletter to get all the details 👉 https://www.laurahornart.com/newsletter
